Family-owned and operated. Serving the entire State of New Jersey with heavy-civil water and wastewater infrastructure.

About Scafar

A New Jersey family doing NJ public work for 49 years.

Scafar started in 1977 as a small family contractor doing municipal water work in New Jersey. Forty-nine years later, that's still the entire story. A portfolio of authorities, utilities, and state and federal partners across the same state.

We added in-house professional engineering in 2000, so concept, design, and build all happen under one roof. Family-owned, statewide, and unflashy on purpose.
